Wallace R. Bennett, professor emeritus of law and former associate dean of the College of Law, received B.A., M.S., and J.D. degrees from the University of Utah. He was editor-in-chief of the Utah Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. He also earned LL.M. degrees from Harvard University (1957) and New York University (1963). Professor Bennett joined the Utah faculty in 1953 and served as associate dean (1960-76). He is a former Master of the Bench, Sutherland Inn of Court, and a former Utah Commissioner on Uniform State Laws. He received his emeritus appointment in 1986 and occasionally teaches in the area of securities law.
