Clifford Rosky, an associate professor at the S.J. Quinney
College of Law, spoke at a family law conference at Harvard Law School on July
15.
The conference, sponsored by Harvard Law School, the HLS
Program on Law and Social Thought and Northeastern University School of Law,
focused on new developments in family law. Rosky’s panel was titled “The Family
and Its Others.” The panel examined a series of questions, including What are the “others” of
“the family”? How do they
intersect with law or escape its reach?
Can we make not only licit but illicit sexual intimacies part of family
law? and Who populates the “informal family” and how are they
governed?“
